Our Story
A Place Built on Grace
Prodigal Remnant Project was born out of a simple conviction: that the Church should look like the Father in the parable — running toward the lost, not waiting for them to clean themselves up first.
Pastor Jon Brown didn't come from a polished background. He grew up navigating a rough and tough past — the kind of life that leaves marks and teaches hard lessons. That history isn't something he hides. It's the very thing that makes him who he is, and it's what drives his heart for people who are still in the middle of their struggle. He knows what it feels like to be broken, to make mistakes, and to wonder if there's any way back.
That's the foundation of this ministry. We are not a church for people who have it all together — because none of us do. We are a gathering of imperfect people, all on the same journey, all trying to find Jesus. No judgment. No pretense. Just grace, truth, and a community that walks with you wherever you are.
Located in Greenville, TX, we gather every Sunday and Tuesday to worship, study the Word, and build the kind of community that changes lives — not just on Sunday morning, but every day of the week.

Pastor Jon Brown founded Prodigal Remnant Project with a heart for the lost, the broken, and the overlooked. His ministry is marked by a deep love for Scripture, a passion for authentic community, and an unwavering belief that no one is beyond the reach of God's grace.
He leads with humility and warmth, creating a space where people feel safe to ask hard questions, wrestle with their faith, and find their way home.

Our vision is to be a ministry that doesn't just hold services, but transforms the community around us. That means feeding the hungry, supporting struggling families, walking alongside those in crisis, and being a consistent, faithful presence in the city we love.
We don't have all the answers — but we have the right foundation. And we're building something that will last.
